Acquisition of "deburring tools" product range

First DIN ISO 9001 certification

Since 1 December 2007, we have operated under the name of KMF Maschinenbau AG, a name which does justice to the diversity of our product range.

On 1 August 2000, EAG GmbH replaced Eisele Apparate- und Gerätebau GmbH and acquired operations without the majority shareholder of GM Pfaff AG.

In October 2000, the former CEO and current Chairman Gerhard Gansler acquired all the shares in a management buy-out. After the acquisition, the company name and corporate form was changed to KMF International Textilmaschinen AG.

Constantly at the cutting edge of technology, KMF successfully positioned itself in the automotive and upholstery market sector. Special-purpose machinery manufacture makes high demands in terms of engineering and technology, which are always met successfully and which have brought us many new business ideas and opened up many new business segments.

In 1973, the Eisele family founded Eisele Apparate- und Gerätebau GmbH, a subsidiary of Pfaff Industriemaschinen AG. Production output steadily increased, with its shirt last unit, button indexer and speed regulator being the most popular products for the clothing industry. Eisele Apparate- und Geräte GmbH's expertise and innovation potential enabled the further development of special machines, special units and sewing systems according to customer requirements. The integration of the production, sales and customer service divisions of KMF linking machines from the Kempten machinery factory in 1997, enabled the successful extension of the product groups.

KMF's origins lie in the 1960s in Schwäbisch Gmünd, where the Eisele family sold Pfaff machines for the home. Their technical expertise in sewing enabled close collaboration with Triumph, whereby the production and development of various guides and equipment constantly increased, as did the company's brand awareness across the clothing industry.
